Crëative Refuge
is based in Gold Mine Country near Yosemite National Park, CA . This creative platform was created to freely express. I love being able to capture the beautiful, raw, uncensored, and diverse experiences that are endured in a human lifetime.
The Curator
Hayleé Ayers is the co-creator of this magic. She grew up taking photos on 35mm & disposable cameras and being so excited to drop them off at her local market to get them developed. She was gifted her first “non-disposable” camera in 7th grade, where she enjoyed capturing moments of her family. Unexpectedly, it eventually grew into her garden of expression as the seasons passed by.; it wasn’t too unexpected, as these gifts were passed on to her from her momma. Most of her days are spent in creation whether it be organizing youth empowerment services for underserved youth, honoring and learning ancestral knowledge, and creating spaces for love and healing to thrive.
